Research Use Only (RUO) Policy

Purpose

This policy sets out how AP Labs ("we," "us," "the Company") restricts the sale and use of its products. All products are sold strictly for Research Use Only (RUO). They are not for human or veterinary use, and are not intended for ingestion, injection, inhalation, topical application or any other administration to humans or animals.

Not drugs, supplements or medical devices

Our products are not drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics or medical devices, and have not been evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). No product is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease. We make no therapeutic claims, and nothing on this site is medical advice, dosing guidance or a recommendation for use.

Who may purchase

We sell only to purchasers who are at least 21 years of age and who are either (a) a licensed healthcare provider with a valid National Provider Identifier (NPI), or (b) a professional researcher acting for an academic institution, research laboratory, pharmaceutical or biotechnology company, contract research organization or comparable research entity. We do not sell to the general public.

How we verify purchasers

Before using this site, every visitor must confirm they are 21 or older and identify as a licensed provider or a professional researcher. Licensed providers must enter their NPI, which is checked against the national NPPES registry; researchers must state their type of research organization. Each confirmation is recorded with its date, time and network address.

We may request additional documentation at any time, including professional licenses, institutional affiliation or a description of the intended research, and may decline, cancel or refund any order where eligibility cannot be confirmed.

Prohibited uses

Products may not be used in or on humans or animals; resold, relabeled, repackaged or marketed for human or veterinary consumption; or presented to any third party as a drug, supplement or treatment. Purchasers may not provide dosing, administration or treatment guidance to others using our products.

Purchaser responsibilities

Purchasers are responsible for safe handling, storage, labeling and disposal in a suitable laboratory setting, and for complying with all applicable federal, state, local and international laws. Products are supplied with lot-specific Certificates of Analysis for research documentation.

Enforcement

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, close accounts and report suspected misuse to the appropriate authorities. Violations of this policy void any warranty, and the purchaser agrees to indemnify the Company for any claim arising from misuse.
